Farewell Buddy! We will see you next year! Have a safe trip back to the North Pole. Feel free to come back next year. We will see you the day after Thanksgiving!
Today was our final day to find Buddy! Following tradition, Buddy replaced the stockings with underwear on the mantle. Then, he was perched on our new snowman figure that Papa gave us.
Buddy made his way to Ben's room tonight. He was peeking out from under his bed. He must be a very brave elf to venture under there. Buddy may never be the same!
The 4 Young children spent the night at Mimi's last night. We thought Buddy might make the trip to her house. Instead, he was stuck in the blinds once more. He was looking straight at Mimi's apartment. He is always watching!
I found Buddy hiding in my clothes this morning. I don't know if he was suggesting I wear something red or if he was trying to camoflauge himself in my clothes. I didn't wear red because I was afraid I might move him and then he would lose his magic.
Buddy was having some fun last night with a snowman, a snowlady, a mini Santa, and Olive (the other reindeer). They were having a snowball fight. Buddy even made a structure to hide behind. I am glad they chose to use marshmallows instead of real snow!
We found Buddy sitting at the computer this morning. He had typed a letter to Santa. I am proud of Buddy for using correct capitalization and punctuation.
Buddy was found by Ben this morning. He was fishing on the hallway bathroom. He made another clever tool. He constructed his own fishing pole from a straw, some ribbon, and a Christmas tree hook. What this elf won't think of!
Buddy was super sneaky tonight and hid in Claire and Sophie's room. He tied some tulle to each of their ceiling fans and created his own zip line. We had fun moving him from one side of the room to the other (without touching him, of course). We may have to leave his zip line in place for Barbie and Ken. I am sure they would enjoy a ride on the zip line. Just don't turn on the ceiling fans or we are in TROUBLE!
Buddy was found in the Master Bedroom today at my desk. He was playing an elf game on my iPad. I also noticed that he has changed my wallpaper to a picture of himself. Oh Buddy!
